American Indian Digital Scrapbook Freebie

Bird Claw

I’ve been hearing about all this social networking stuff and my husband went and bought me a book on Marketing. I had heard about how hard this was and was determined that this book could make life easier. I want some of the action too. I would like to stand up and be counted for, not just for the amount of ads I could get with increased traffic. Although, that increased traffic could be kind of fun. So, if you’re interested in digital art with a lot more to give try us out. _ :) just checking to see if anyone was paying attention.

The bird claw above (included in the freebie) has been used as an overlay. I placed a photo of cactus from the desert inside and added depth with a bevel and emboss. As you can see in the above picture this really brings out the feel of the tribal lands.

This is my second Native American Scrapbook Kit. All of this art has been recreated from Illustrator and saved as a PNG or JPG. Each piece is manipulated bending and shaping the outlines and filling in with appropriate colors. This is very time consuming, but it renders a better final piece that I can add texture, depth, or use as overlays in Photoshop. There are many reasons I make everything in Illustrator but mostly I anticipate in the future that this art will be highly sought after because it can be resized and recolored so much easier than Photoshop files.

Download the FREE SAMPLE for a limited time only.

In this American Indian Digital Scrapbook kit I will be offering art from many different tribes. So far I have Menominee, Zuni and Dakota. I will list the tribes that I want to include but I may run out of steam and not get to all of them: Ojibway, Menominee, Dakota, Zuni, Appalachia, Cherokee, Pottawatami, Comanche, Blackfoot, Seminole, Creek, Iroquois, Mohawk, Mohegan, Navajo and more.
